Challenged by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez during a Wednesday hearing to cite a specific law President Biden violated, Hunter Biden’s former business partner Tony Bobulinski accused the president of breaking racketeering and corruption laws through his participation in his son’s foreign business dealings.

The president violated federal laws against unregistered foreign lobbying and participating in a criminal conspiracy when he met with Bobulinski, Hunter, and Jim Biden in May 2017 to discuss the possibility of forming a business venture with a Chinese conglomerate, Bobulinski testified during an appearance before the House Oversight Committee.

“Is it your testimony today that you personally witnessed President Joe Biden commit a crime?” Ocasio-Cortez asked. As Bobulinski answered, she interrupted and asked him the same question.

“Yes,” Bobulinski replied.

“What crime have you witnessed?”

“How much time do I have to go through it?” Bobulinski retorted.

“Corruption statues, RICO and conspiracy, FARA,” Bobulinski added.

“RICO, you’re obviously not familiar with, corruption statues, FARA,” Bobulinski repeated until Ocasio-Cortez pressed him on specific RICO statutes. The witness delegated the specifics on RICO to lawmakers and committee staffers.

Afterwards, Ocasio-Cortez changed the subject and claimed the House GOP’s impeachment inquiry found no evidence of wrongdoing by Joe Biden.

The impeachment inquiry is focusing on Joe Biden’s apparent role in his son’s lucrative foreign business dealings during and after his vice presidency. Tony Bobulinski said he believes Joe Biden committed high crimes and misdemeanors in response to questions from Representative Jared Moskowitz (D., Fla.) on the impeachment inquiry.

“Do you believe [Joe Biden] should be impeached?” Moskowitz asked.

“I do,” Bobulinski answered.

“I know he committed high crimes and misdemeanors. I was involved and saw them happen,” Bobulinski said after Moskowitz asked a follow up question.

Throughout the hearing, Bobulinski accused Hunter and James Biden of lying under oath about their business dealings with Chinese energy conglomerate CEFC. Joe Biden, Hunter Biden and James Biden met Bobulinski at the Milken Institute conference for roughly 45 minutes in May 2017 because of Bobulinski’s role in the CEFC negotiations, he said repeatedly during his testimony.

The details Bobulinski gave about the meeting are nearly identical to the closed-door testimony he provided behind closed doors last month. Republican lawmakers shared multiple text messages from Bobulinski’s old BlackBerry phone corroborating his testimony. In addition, Bobulinski asserted Joe Biden was “the big guy” brought up by business partner James Gilliar in an email about the ownership structure of the CEFC venture.

“10 held by H for the big guy?” Gilliar asked his business partners, the New York Post first reported ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

“Mr. Bobulinski, who’s the big guy?” asked Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R., Ohio) on Wednesday.

“Joe Biden,” Bobulinski answered. “I’m a thousand percent sure,” Bobulinski added.

Imprisoned ex-Biden associate Jason Galanis also testified about Joe Biden’s alleged phone calls to assist Hunter Biden with Chinese and Russian business deals. Galanis described what he calls the “Biden lift,” his term for the access Hunter Biden supposedly promised to his business partners. Galanis testified virtually because he is currently serving a lengthy prison sentence for orchestrating a scheme to issue fraudulent bonds.

In a closed-door session last month, Hunter Biden confirmed his father met Bobulinski and other business partners. When asked about “the big guy” email, Hunter Biden implied it was his father and dismissed the suggestion by Gilliar. Nonetheless, Hunter Biden repeatedly insisted his father had nothing to do with his foreign business dealings.
