Infowars founder Alex Jones angrily confronted Senator Marco Rubio in the hallway of the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, accusing the Florida lawmaker of ignoring social-media platforms’ alleged censorship of conservative voices.

Rubio, who was speaking to reporters about the threat posed by foreign adversaries eager to disseminate misinformation through tech platforms, largely ignored the ruckus until Jones patted his shoulder, at which point he threatened to “take care” of the infamous conspiracy theorist.

“The Democrats are doing what you say China does,” Jones yelled while standing next to Rubio. “Republicans are acting like it isn’t happening. Thank God Trump is.”

“I just don’t know who you are, man,” Rubio responded angrily.

Jones then patted Rubio on the back while calling him a “little frat boy.”

Rubio immediately abandoned his friendly tone as security guards intervened.

“Hey don’t touch me again, man. I’m asking you not to touch me,” Rubio said, to which Jones said, “I just patted you nicely.”

“I know, but I don’t want to be touched by you. I don’t know who you are,” Rubio responded.

Jones then insisted that Rubio was attempting to have him arrested, at which point Rubio said, “You’re not going to get arrested man. You’re not going to get arrested. I’ll take care of you myself.”

“Oh, he’ll beat me up? You’re not going to silence me, you’re not going to silence America. You are literally like a little gangster thug. Rubio just threatened to physically take care of me,” Jones shouted to the surrounding gaggle of reporters.

After a taking a few more questions from the reporters Rubio walked away while referring to Jones as a “clown.”

Jones was banned from Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook within a 24-hour period last month for violating the companies’ respective hate-speech policies.
