READ: Complaint Filed in Kavanaugh-Threat Case

A California man was charged with attempting or threatening to murder or kidnap a Supreme Court justice on Wednesday. Nicholas John Roske, 26, was arrested near Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home armed with a Glock handgun after telling police he wanted to kill the justice out of anger over a leaked draft opinion that indicated the Supreme Court may be poised to overturn Roe v. Wade. He also expressed a desire to prevent the Court from loosening gun-control laws.
