Attorney Michael Avenatti was arrested Wednesday for felony domestic violence, TMZ reported, citing law enforcement sources.

The lawyer allegedly left his estranged wife’s face “swollen and bruised” and “kicked her out of the apartment” on Tuesday before she filed a felony domestic violence report against him. The two reportedly had a confrontation the next day as well.

On Wednesday, the woman ran out of an apartment building in Century City in Los Angeles shouting on a cell phone, “I can’t believe you did this to me.”

Avenatti showed up a few minutes later and chased her in the building.

“She hit me first,” Avenatti reportedly said. “This is bulls***. This is f***ing bulls***.”

He is reported still in law enforcement’s custody.

The pair married in 2011 and filed for divorce last year.

Avenatti shot to fame after he represented porn star Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against President Trump. More recently he represented one of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s sexual assault accusers.
