President Trump took another shot at Representative Maxine Waters and House leader Nancy Pelosi Wednesday morning, calling them the “unhinged face” of the Democratic Party.

Waters’s “crazy rants” have contributed to “making America weak again,” he said.

He joked on Tuesday that the two California representatives are a “fine leadership team” and “should always stay together and lead the Democrats.”

“I’m not going anywhere,” Trump wrote.

Waters, one of the voices calling for Trump’s impeachment, stoked the president’s ire after she was vocal last weekend at a California rally and on television, calling for supporters to harass members of the Trump administration.

“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” she shouted at the rally.

Her remarks came after White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was asked to leave a restaurant and separately, Homeland Security secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was harassed as she dined last week.

Pelosi and Waters have both been in Congress for close to 30 years, but Tuesday’s primary election results had a few warning shots for establishment Democrats.

Millennial socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez unseated veteran New York Representative Joe Crowley, considered a potential speaker of the House.
