MEMRI reports that Dr. ‘Abd Al-Hamid Al-Ansari, a Qatari liberal and former dean of Islamic law at the University of Qatar, recently wrote an article in the Kuwaiti daily Al-Jarida in which he bravely protested widespread incitement against secularists and liberals in the Arab world. Jihad war is being waged against these groups, he said. Dr. Al-Ansari urged that Arab nations adopt legislation that would outlaw incitement and reform their education and religious systems.
