Minding The Campus and The Center for the American University at the Manhattan Institute are hosting a conference on October 3rd in New York entitled “The American Mind: Opening or Closing?.” In conjunction with the effort, we are holding a Bloom Essay contest to hear students’ thoughts on Bloom’s seminal volume, and its current relevance. Essays of 1,500-2,000 words are invited from undergraduate or graduate students. The winner will receive a $1000 cash prize. Read more here.
