Another 9/11 Revisionist Case

There is another of those cases where a prof wants to use his classroom for

discussion of his theory that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were actually the

work of the government. This one is in New Hampshire and Inside Higher Ed

has the story:

Granite-state politicians are very upset over this attack on the

sensibilities of Americans and naturally the academic Left is again making

this out to be an issue of academic freedom.
I think it’s a matter of contract.  The prof has a contract to teach a

course, not a talk radio gig where he gets to spout off on whatever happens

to have his attention that day.  If a prof wants to air his opinions about

the government and its policies, he should be perfectly free to do so — on

his own time.
