That’s how Penn Jillette describes the people in charge of today’s colleges and universities. Courtesy of Google Video, a friend passed along to me this episode of Penn & Teller’s Bulls**t! It’s a half-hour segment in which the comedians skewer the academic establishment, with a particularly sharp focus on the fraudulence of the “diversity and multiculturalism” crowd. About six minutes into the video, there is the beginning of an excellent interview with FIRE co-founder Alan Kors (segments of the interview are interspersed throughout the rest of the clip). Former FIRE president (and current Phi Beta Cons conspirator) David French also makes an appearance. Also of note are the interviews with a campus diversity advocate and an independent “diversity specialist” who collects enormous fees from colleges to teach workshops filled with P.C. drivel.
