Ayers, Dohrn to Speak at Northwestern about “Peaceful Progress”

You just can’t make this stuff up. I just received a Facebook message inviting me to the following event at my alma mater:

Event: McSA presents: Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn and Zaid Shakir

“Peaceful Progress: A Discourse on Affecting Change”

What: Lecture

Host: McSA

Start Time: Thursday, November 20 at 7:30pm

End Time: Thursday, November 20 at 9:30pm

Where: Cahn Auditorium

If Bill and Bernadine plan to stick to the script and only discuss their peaceful efforts to “affect change,” it could be a very short, boring program. If they recap their greatest hits, however, the event could be pretty, well, explosive.

It is a disgrace that anyone would celebrate these people. It’s a tired analogy, but one can only imagine the outrage if the NU Students for Life invited Eric Rudolph to campus if he somehow got off on a technicality?

First Wright, now this.  It’s a sad statement on academia.
