The Blatant Bias in Higher Ed Reporting

We have all read many articles in The Chronicle of Higher Education and Inside Higher Education that are terribly slanted. If the subject concerns any controversial issue such as diversity, you can expect the piece to read as if either the opponents are knaves or there is no opposition at all.

In this SeeThru essay, Mark Bauerlein remarks on the lack of objectivity in the reporting on higher education in those publications.

Strongly recommended.
