Northern Arizona University has introduced a monitoring system to check whether students attend class, The Guardian reports. Sensors will detect students’ identification cards when they enter the classroom.
If students miss class, top-secret laser-beam neurotransmitters will send encoded messages to their brains, such as “War Is Peace, Freedom Is Slavery, Ignorance Is Strength!” and “Four legs good, two legs bad!” (OK, so I made up the last part.)
