No doubt the fight over affirmative action isn’t over, but huge heaps of congratulations and mounds and mounds of gratitude to Ward Connerly and his wonderful, courageous team, including Jennifer Gratz, for the good fight they fought in Michigan against thuggery, demagogery, intimidation, ignorance, and dishonesty. Ward and his team won a 58-42 victory on MCRI, and have established that most Michiganders, and probably most Americans, still believe “equality” means equal treatment of individuals under the law, and not outcome-based group equality, also known as ”diversity.”
