California Has No Monopoly on Politicized Campuses

John Leo notes in a Minding the Campus piece that the University of Wisconsin is red hot with politics these days. Faculty members are openly siding with the big-labor/anti-Walker forces. Students who disagree hesitate to say so publicly. Thanks to UW professor Donald Downs, a fervent defender of free speech on campus (and Pope Center author), for raising the issue.
