Powerline has video of leftists storming the stage at Columbia to interrupt a speech by the founder of the Minuteman Project. My description can’t improve on the footage, so just go watch and see the tolerant Left in action. The last time I was at Columbia, I walked through a gauntlet of menacing protestors, a metal detector, and a phalanx of security to address the plight of pro-Israel Jewish students in Columbia’s Middle East studies department. I got the real sense at the time that Columbia’s radical Left was ready and even eager to explode into violence had security not been so heavy. The Powerline video should be required viewing for anyone who believes that the marketplace of ideas is alive and well on our elite campuses.
