1) Nice piece in the ISI Canon spread re: military historians.  One irony of the ivy tower set’s banishing of military historians is that without their support military history will tend to be crowd pleasing and jingoistic, rather than peer reviewed and rigorous.  Only a university system could produce Dupuy, and only Dupuy could produce A Genius for War, for instance.  Also, nice job slipping in a “not that there is anything wrong with that” into your article!!
