Columbia: Return of the Minuteman?

After the violent disruption by student protestors of his talk at Columbia University nearly a year ago, Jim Gilchrist, an anti-illegal immigration activist and founder of the Minuteman Project, has been tentatively asked to return for another talk. The Columbia Political Union is to have decided last night to approve the invitation.

It’s about time someone stood up for free speech on the campus – in this case David Eisenbach, a history lecturer on the campus. Kudos to him.
