Writing on the Volokh Conspiracy, Jonathan Adler cites a study showing that conservative and libertarian law professors publish more and are cited more than their liberal peers. Exactly why is not certain, but Adler writes:
Yet whatever the reason for [the] results, they undermine the claims made by some that there are fewer conservative and libertarian law professors because they are less able or less qualified.
