Convicted Felon Stewart Promoted to ‘Ethics’ Expert

In 2005 Lynne Stewart was found guilty of providing material support to terrorists by helping her jailed client, blind Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman, communicate with his followers. Abdel-Rahman was a key terrorist behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
The disbarred lawyer speak at an October conference, titled “Lawyering on the Edge: Unpopular Clients, Difficult Cases, and Zealous Advocates,” at Hofstra University. The dean of the campus’s law school claims Stewart’s presentation will provide students with “a learning situation.”
