Costly Credentials Don’t Make People Productive

Kyle Smith, film critic for the New York Post, has an excellent article in Forbes. He takes issue with Obama and others who push the line that the U.S. needs to put more people through college so we’ll be more productive and competitive in the world. Smith is right in observing that people learn more and faster by doing things other than sitting in classrooms. David Bass made the same point, based on personal experience, in this Pope Center piece.
