Daniel Luzer on Credential Creep

Washington Monthly’s Daniel Luzer writes here about the continuing upward credential creep in health fields. He rightly questions whether adding years of formal education time before people are allowed to do the work adds anything to their competence. It undoubtedly adds to the expense and subtracts some individuals who could learn the job, however.
