An odd study from Robert Putnam, the author of the infamous study, “Bowling Alone.” He argues that in societies with more diversity, “every measure of social well-being suffered in ethnically diverse neighborhoods — and improved in ethnically homogeneous ones.”
I may not be pro-affirmative action, but I wouldn’t say I’m “anti-diversity.” That said, strike this one up as a blow against all those who maintain strictly racial diversity is the only right kind of diversity.
