The Washington Post identifies a new campus trend: colleges that provide double beds in their dorms. Because single beds are a hardship. American University’s director of residence life explains why his school is making the accommodation:

[Rick] Treter said students also indicated “that sometimes they are not in the bed alone.”

Meanwhile, a new study says all-nighters aren’t good for your GPA.
