Entrepreneurship: Teachable or Doing What Comes Naturally?

Entrepreneurship has been a major buzzword for the last few years—and everybody is for it, on both sides of the political aisle. Only, it’s not always clear what it is, or how it is supposed to work.

One of the enduring questions is whether entrepreneurship is something that can be taught or it is a natural inclination toward risk-taking and creativity. Per Bylund is an assistant professor at Oklahoma State University in entrepreneurship (who also holds an endowed professorship n free enterprise). He discusses many of the questions surrounding entrepreneurship in his article, “What Entrepreneurship Education Can (and Can’t) Do.”
