Excellent Essay on the Demise of Ward Churchill

If you want to read yet another piece on the firing of Ward Churchill, Michael Moynihan has a excellent one at Reason. 
Moynihan draws parallels between Churchill and the case of historian Michael Bellesiles, who continued ranting that the attack on his book Arming America was all just a political vendetta long after a large number of impartial historians examined his scholarship and concluded that, like Churchill, he just made things up to support his opinions.
