It’s an article of faith on campus that our problems with political Islam are confined to the actions of a “few extremists.” In my weekly Patheos column, I argue that the threat is far more pervasive. There are some truths we simply don’t want to face, and one of those truths is that there is literally nothing the United States or Israel can do to placate or appease vast segments of the Muslim world.
