Football Will ‘Enhance the Value of Their Degrees’

Kennesaw State in Georgia is determined to start up a big-time football program. Read all about it in this news item.

It’s going to cost loads of money, but school officials know where to get a lot of it: a big increase in student fees. If any student doubts that it is worth the increased expense, the president knows better. Having a football program will “enhance the value of their degrees.”

How, exactly? That’s the sort of baloney easily spoken by someone who isn’t playing with his own money.
