In the early 90s Mary Rose Oakar left Congress in disgrace, subsequently pleading guilty to charges related to her role in the House checking scandal. She has now resurfaced publicly by encouraging higher education officials to suppress student free speech related to the upcoming IFAW.
FrontPageMagazine has obtained a copy of a letter from Oakar (in her position as president of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee) to Columbus State Community College President Valeriana Moeller. Oakar advocated that IFAW events “not be tolerated.”
