From the Utica Observer-Dispatch:

CLINTON — A Hamilton College alumnus who said last fall he would donate $3.6 million to the proposed Alexander Hamilton Center — a project that derailed in December — has resigned from the board of trustees, school officials said Thursday.
The resignation of Carl Menges comes days after the National Review, a conservative-leaning magazine, published a story detailing the controversy among faculty, administrators and trustees that led to the center’s failure to get off the ground.
