Carl Menges has resigned from the board of trustees of Hamilton College over the school’s decision not to establish the Hamilton Center, to which Menges had promised $3.6 million. I’ve written an article about the controversy in the current issue of NR; Menges was one of my key sources. This development strongly suggests that there is absolutely no hope that Hamilton College might come to its senses and reverse its mistaken decision of last fall.
