Free Exchange’s ‘Manufactured Controversy’

In this week’s Pope Center Clarion Call, I take a look at a paper claiming that all the “attacks” from “the right” on higher education are meant to discredit it and pave the way for a “conservative” take-over.

The paper is a screed, of a piece with the attempts we have been seeing by the authoritarian leftist establishment to demonize all criticism of the Obama regime by painting it as “racist” or “angry” or “lying.”
