The GAO Besmirches its Reputation

I used to think that the GAO was one of the more honest and reliable federal agencies, but its collaboration with Senator Harkin and others who are zealous to hamstring for-profit colleges has besmirched its reputation. Cato’s Neal McCluskey explains in detail here. It is another sad indication of just how hyper-politicized the U.S. has become.
