On the NRO homepage, there’s an interview with Jim Robbins on his new book, Last in Their Class: Custer, Pickett, and the Goats of West Point. I suspect that the last-place cadet at the U.S. Military Academy is probably a finer person that a lot of students who finish near the top of their classes on other campuses.
