Groupthink and Useless Information

Inside Higher Ed has a story today on a new GAO report on differences in educational preparation and attainment among various subgroups of Asians.
Individuals, no matter what their ancestry, attempt to make the best decisions they can given their circumstances. There is simply nothing to be gained by having federal bureaucrats crank out reports telling us that there are group (and subgroup; next it will be sub-subgroup) differences with regard to education. It just gives politicians another excuse for offering more of their incessant meddling.
