Harvey Silverglate, one of FIRE’s co-founders and author of the revealing book Three Felonies a Day, has a piece in the New York Post on the way leftist intolerance has taken over most of our colleges and universities. It seems to be the case that the more the whole “progressive” agenda (that is, expansion of government into every aspect of our lives) fails, the angrier and more authoritarian its advocates become — on campus and elsewhere.
