I appreciated your post on the unfortunate similitude between higher education and the healthcare industry. Of course, there are numerous layers of resemblance, from badly designed government funding, bureaucratic organizational leadership that ignores the organizations’ core missions, conflicts of interest and corruption, disrespect for free speech and free expression, lack of due process, and punishment of whistleblowers, etc., etc., etc.
