If You Can’t Do, Teach?

That old adage seems to apply to “educational research,” as you’ll see from reading this piece by Rick Hess and Francesca Pickett on the home page. They survey a lot of the papers presented at the American Educational Research Association conference. What interests our esteemed professors of education? If you think it’s how best to understand fractions or the scientific method or anything useful like that, you’re light years off.
