Just How Bad Has College Gotten?

In this week’s Pope Center Clarion Call, Rutgers professor Jackson Toby reviews Herbert London’s new book, Decline and Revival in Higher Education. Toby, while he agreed in his 2009 book The Lowering of Higher Education in America (which I reviewed here) that much has gone wrong in our higher-education system, is not quite so pessimistic as London is.
