Perhaps Inside Higher Education took Jim McCarthy’s correspondence to heart because the College Sports Council’s Jessica Gavora accounts for most of the quotes in IHE’s latest Title IX article. On the heals of the massive cuts at James Madison University, the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater is eliminating roster positions for men in all nine men’s sports, rather than eliminating an entire team.
