At Minding the Campus I <a href="http://www.mindingthecampus.com/originals/2007/11/post_2.html“>highlight two remarkable studies (two of eighteen) presented today at a blockbuster conference sponsored by the American Enterprise Institute. My focus is on the “groupthink” which the authors of the reports conclude are at the root of the spreading liberal bias in the academy.
In addition, The New York Sun has run a most insightful piece on the event, the contents of which will be published in a book titled Reforming the Politically Correct University. AEI’s Henry Olsen calls liberal bias “a real problem, not anecdote masquerading as fact.”
