The New Nessie

Actually, that’s NSSE — the National Survey of Student Engagement.  The 2006 results have been published and I write about it here.
In brief, NSSE indicates that a large percentage of college students are not very engaged with their studies. Most of them have probably never been very engaged with studies, but lots of colleges and universities are okay with that.
