Polsby’s Position

As Roger pointed out, the Supreme Court’s recent, unanimous decision on the Solomon Amendment was a big rebuke to all the law schools that tried to have the thing struck down–they behaved as creatures of politics, not teachers of the law, and even the Court’s liberal Justices called them on it. I’d say their behavior was shameful, but too many law-school deans and professors are shameless. Anyway, only one law school signed an amicus brief on the side of the military: George Mason University. Its dean, Daniel Polsby, just emailed me this statement:
