Prager U: Do You Have Free Will?

Many undergraduates are required to “take philosophy courses” as part of their university core classes, but few students (outside of philosophy majors) “study philosophy” in college. In fact, when I’ve asked students about what they learned in their philosophy courses, more than a few answered with “is that the one where we read Epic of Gilgamesh?”  Checking a box is just not a substitute for learning or thinking about the big issues.

On that note, in the latest Prager University course, Frank Pastore ponders whether humans truly have free will. The video contains five more minutes of wisdom than many students get for all of their five to six figures of tuition.
