Radicals in Decline at MLA

Accuracy in Academia’s Mal Kline attended this year’s Modern Language Association meeting and notes propitious signs of the waning influence of the group’s Radical Caucus.

On the other hand, he reminds us that the Caucus is still alive and kicking: It played a crucial role in organizing the Occupy protests. And, despite its toned down politics, the MLA can hardly be said to be en route to becoming a Republican stronghold.
