Re: ABC on College Shootings

Robert, thanks for pointing out the absurdities of ABC’s report. Of course the question isn’t whether carry permits will guarantee anyone’s safety (are there ever any guarantees in life?) but whether carry permits enhance overall security. Real life — rather than ABC’s contrived experiment — indicates that ready access to firearms has saved lives, as you make clear in your 2007 Spectator article (which was written before an armed woman killed a Colorado church shooter).
