Studies and surveys have shown that faculty overwhelmingly vote Democratic and classify themselves as liberal. But that fact does not prepare you for the vitriol that some faculty can show in expressing their “liberal” political views. Originally billed as a forum for higher education, it was one long stream of invective against the Republicans in the state, who now control the two houses of the legislature and the governor’s mansion.
