The State Church

My piece on public university administrators engaging in explicit religious advocacy is now up on the main page.  If there is one thing that should be clear by now, it is that much of the Left is not interested in channeling its arguments through neutral, generally applicable legal structures.  Rather than keeping public university administrators out of the religious debate and allowing students to deal with faith issues on equal terms, universities systematically exclude private religious student groups while using their resources and employees to teach “approved” religious views.  But I suppose it is easier to make your point in the absence of dissent.
