Tennessee Votes to Cut Diversity Spending So Students Protest

The House and Senate in Tennessee have both voted to cut diversity spending (that is, to stop wasting money on a an office that makes leftists feel good) and, as we read in this IHE story, many students staged a protest by walking out of class and obstructing sidewalks on campus.

I think that tells us something about the perceived value of the courses these students are taking. Skipping them has so little cost that the students would rather engage in an perfectly useless protest.
