Here’s an article from InsideHigherEd today that discusses the discrimination that takes place against Asians in college admissions, since there are just too darn many of them that would get in if the decision were made on the merits. The article focuses on how Asians are discriminated against vis-à-vis whites, and studies by the Center for Equal Opportunity have documented that this does indeed happen—but of course it is nothing compared to the degree of discrimination against Asians AND whites vis-à-vis blacks and, to a lesser extent, Latinos. This discrimination is somehow not worthy of mention in the article.
