I thought you would enjoy reading some of this–but then, I have been editing this for 6 months so at this point it seems like everyone should enjoy reading this. Seriously though, this is a round up of all of the biggest scholars in the field of Thomas More Studies weighing in on his Utopia. I strongly recommend the QnD under George Logan’s keynote [pdf]. It would be great if you shared this with your blog readers–they being the type of academically minded folks to get the most out of such scholarship. Furthermore, it would be beyond great if after reading this and looking around the site you became a life long devotee of Thomas More. We’ve got enough for you to read to turn you into one. He wrote a whole helluvalot more than people think. His feast day was Friday, and he is, after all, the patron of statesmen. Enjoy.
